“Transformative works” includes fandom writing, both fiction and non-fiction (E.g. analysis essays). Given that many transformative projects are necessarily not-for-profit, I offer editing services for transformative fiction of at a reduced rate from my standard.

As with any editing job, please contact me to discuss the length and intention of the work. Editing a transformative work will follow the same process as any other project.

For transformative works I also offer services as a “beta reader”; this is a service with a lot of potential facets to it, the specifics of which we will negotiate and create a contract for. Generally, this service involves making no direct changes to the work, instead making suggestions about structural- and stylistic- level changes to help develop the work as a whole.
